There’s nothing like a model train to bring out the kid in you.

New, at the Portage la Prairie Mall this Christmas season is the Save the CP Station Store. With  N, O and HO scale models set up, you can get a close up look at the world of model railroading. In addition, you can get all your model railroad supplies, souvenirs and other memorabilia.  Together, the Portage Model Railroad Club and Portage Heritage Inc, have teamed up to put this store together, with all proceeds going to refurbish the CP Station. They’re open until Christmas (maybe a little longer), on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 1 to 5, and Sunday’s 1 -3.

We stopped by and made a short video of our train ride.  It was fun.

Take a look some of the detail in the models.
