With the overwhelming response to the Albion Hotel fire story, we went looking for more photos of that historic day. Here’s more from the Albion Hotel fire. Firefighters hose down east wall. They look quite relaxed. Crowd watches at early stages of fire. Southwest corner collapsed. Firefighters engulfed in smoke on fire escape. Flames shooting out from the second floor. Firefighters run from collapsing wall. Firefighter with breathing equipment in the parking lot by the west wall. I think that area was the addition where the stage was. Firefighters signals message as south wall collapses. Firefighters on Main (3rd) Street. Un-identified firefighter manning one of the hoses. East wall collapses. Not much left but the sign and entrance. Check out our original post: The Last Moments of The Albion Hotel 2 Responses Pat Beswatherick November 3, 2016 Hey Bill….nice to see your work .
