Unconfirmed, unreliable, fictional sources claim that Liberal Leader, Justin Trudeau will make the legalization of hemp a priority if elected.

“ I believe the legalization of Hemp is overdue ,” said Justin Trudeau while having lunch at Tornado’s.  “The Liberal Party took the position we have to control and regulate hemp primarily for one reason – Mr. Harper’s current approach is not protecting our children.  He’s more concerned with chicken.”

Local hemp growers where quick to come to the defence of their industry.  “We don’t understand why hemp is an election issue.  It is not illegal to grow, consume or make bland-looking hippie clothes out of, ” said area farmer Helmut Friesen.  “We are just fun-loving farmers who like to grow a crop that looks like marijuana.  We don’t want any political interference.”

“As I stated earlier in my reign as Prime Minister.  We will not let the production of hemp harm our children in any way.  Wether its earth-toned hemp clothes or rope, we will enforce the law to make sure Canadians are not victimized, ” said Stephen Harper while shopping at the Portage la Prairie Walmart.  “But more importantly our government seeks to help our chicken farmers because we know chicken hurts no man, especially if battered and deep fried.”

Hemp for Humanity leader, Iva Biggins added, “Hemp is harmless, hopeful and the weed of the future.  We don’t need more laws restricting the awesomeness of hemp, we need a more positive spirit and energy.”

Lock Candice Bergen in a room, with Cheech and Chong, and maybe her thoughts, would become more Liberal.
