This week we take a look at the work of Ellie Petkau from the Ripples Art Group. Ellie has been working with water colours and oil since about 1980. She originally teamed up with other notable local artists Nell Owens and Del-Marie Singh. Ellie tells us that water colour has been her favourite medium as it has “taught her a lot of discipline… there’s not too much room for error.” Old Man from Nepal. Watercolour.
