May Bring Production of New Murphy Brown Series to Portage

candicesThe Candices were making their rounds in Portage the other day, stopping and talking to voters everywhere they went. With matching outfits and matching friendship bracelets, they spoke freely, often finishing each other’s sentences claim unconfirmed, unreliable, fictional sources.

“Its like we were separated at birth,” joked Candice.

“Its like we know what each other is thinking” said Candice.

“It is uncanny how similar we are. We both like vanilla ice cream, pedicures, and a good chick flick …our names aren’t our only similarity.”

Earlier in the Day the Candices were in Gail Lynn’s Fashion Boutique picking out matching outfits. When Gail was asked if they were similar sizes Gail said, “If size 6 and 16 are similar, I guess they are.”

Candice, the politician, was asked what she would do if she wasn’t re-elected. Candice, the actor, piped in and said, “There is always that job as stunt double on the New Murphy Brown.”  When asked what types of stunts she needs a stunt double for, Candice, the Politician answered, “Eating meat, wearing fur…as a farm girl I am used to that.” When asked why she changed her name from Heoppner. Candice first denied it then admitted, “Heoppner just wasn’t doing it for me.  And the change has brought me closer to my soul sister, Candice Bergen.  I loved watching Murphy Brown.”

On the prospect of the New Murphy Brown series being shot on location in Portage Candice the actor said, “It just might happen.  Portage is the city of possibilities and shooting the new show here is a possibility.”
